Happy weekend! The weather seems too good to be true (blue skies and sunshine?!) and we’re hoping to make the most of it. Here are a few ways to get out there!
Summer Concerts in the Park: The Park Theater’s Friday night concert series at the Crandall Park Bandshell continues this week at 7pm with the rock, bluegrass, jazz, and classical infused sounds of The Clements Brothers! Details here. Update: Due to the impending weather, this concert will be held at The Park Theater. Did we mention it’s free?! Pair it with dinner downtown and you’ve got a pretty awesome date night!
Summer Garden Tips: If you’re growing a garden this summer like we are, you might want to take advantage of the Summer into Fall Garden program offered this Saturday at 10am at Crandall Library! Master Gardeners will share their July gardening practices and help you get ahead on fall gardening. Bonus - time will be available to ask your personal gardening questions! Details here.
Summer at West Mountain: Winter at West Mountain is a given, but have you been in the summer? They’ve got hiking, chair lift rides, mountain top picnic packages, and activities for the kiddos - check out the details and our mini guide to summer at West here!
Blueberry Picking and Lunch: A sure sign of summer, it’s blueberry picking time at Gardenworks in Salem! Their fabulous barn cafe is also open from 12-4pm and they’ve got 50% off all plants! Sold. Here’s a roundup of other blueberry farms if you’re headed in a different direction this weekend.
Enjoy the weekend,
