The Weekender: March 17-19

Happy weekend, Happy St. Patrick’s Day, Happy Spring! So much to celebrate - here are a few ways to get out there in the world this weekend:

Ice Cream: The surest sign of spring - the re-opening of our favorite ice cream spots! Rob and Deb’s opens tomorrow (Friday) and Martha’s opens on Saturday - see you in line!

Winter Meltdown: The Shirt Factory is heating things up this weekend with the Spicy Food Winter Meltdown! Food vendors will be serving up dishes full of spice and flavor (and plenty of other non-spicy options, too!) on Saturday from 11am-5pm - details here!

Snowshoe at Wilton Wildlife Preserve: Might as well enjoy the last of the snow! No snowshoes? No problem! On winter weekends, Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park rents snowshoes and cross country skis at their Winter Lodge on Saturday and Sunday from 11am-3pm. Find the details here and get out on the trail!

Thurman Maple Days: Head north to Thurman this weekend for the second of three Maple Days this month. Hop on a hayride at Toad Hill Maple Farm, enjoy a s’more by the fire at Mud Street Maple, or head out on a farm walk at Nettle Meadow. And obviously, sample all of the maple goodness along the way. Find a map of the activities here!

Have a great weekend!
