Winter Meltdown Spicy Food Festival: The snow has melted and things are heating up at The Shirt Factory with their Winter Meltdown Spicy Food Festival this Saturday from 11am-5pm. Local vendors and food trucks will be showcasing their bold flavors, and it seems like a perfect way to spend an almost spring day - details here!

Ice Cream is Back: Another perfect way to spend an almost spring weekend? Ice cream! Martha’s opens on Saturday at 11am and we can’t wait to get in line for a taste of summer - details here!

St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations: If you’re lucky enough to be Irish, you’re lucky enough! Celebrate on Saturday night at Morgan & Co with a perfectly poured pint of Guinness, an extensive range of drinks, delicious traditional Irish fare, Irish music from The Hudson River Ceili Band, and more - details on that here! Basketball Weekend: It’s Basketball Weekend in Glens Falls with the New York State Basketball Championships starting today at the Cool Insuring Arena (and the Glens Falls game on Friday at 9am!). And if you’re not at the arena, Fenimore’s Pub at The Q will be live-streaming the games all weekend (and they’ll also be opening early on Friday at 11am following the Glens Falls game!). Maple Season: ‘Tis the season! The sap is flowing and sweet treats abound at some of our favorite sugar shacks. As a South High alum, I [Bri] can attest that there’s really nothing quite like the energy and emotion in the building as hundreds of students dance for 28 hours straight for an amazing cause (you can see this year’s recipients here). 24 Hour Play Fest: Create, Compete, Collapse! Play Fest brings 70+ volunteers together at The Wood Theater for an unforgettable 24 hour race to put on a show - with each randomly formed team (1 writer, 1 director and 3-4 actors) getting just 24 hours to write, rehearse, memorize and stage a ten-minute play. Food vendors will be offering at least one dish with apple or pumpkin as an ingredient, plus activities, live music, a flea market, and more. Details here!

West Mountain Fall Fest: West Mountain’s Fall Festival continues this Saturday and Sunday! They’ve got a little something for everyone - wagon rides, chair lift rides, a petting zoo, pony rides, food, beer and spirits tastings, and more. Sounds good to us! Here are the details.

West Mountain Fall Fest: Excited to see West Mountain’s Fall Festival on the calendar for this Saturday and Sunday (and next weekend, too!). Rewind at The Park: Get to The Park Theater on Saturday night for ‘Rewind At The Park’ featuring River of Dreams and American Elton - a Billy Joel and Elton John Experience! Doors open at 7:30 - grab your tickets here!

Thurman Fall Farm Tour: Head north to Thurman on Saturday for a day of fall farm fun. Five Years of WorkSmart: WorkSmart Coworking and Meeting Space is celebrating five years in operation this week! The renovation they completed on the historic downtown building is amazing, which makes for a pretty inspiring place to work!
